You can connect your own domain name (for example mystore.com) to your Wild Orange Pie store so that customers visit your store at a clean, branded address that belongs to you.
One-time 25 dollar installation fee
There is a one-time 25 dollar installation fee for connecting your custom domain. This covers the work we do on our side to:
- Configure the server to recognize your domain.
- Connect your domain to the correct store on Wild Orange Pie.
- Install and adjust the scripts and settings needed so everything works correctly.
Step 1: Update your domain DNS A record
First, you will update your domain DNS settings with your domain registrar or hosting company (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost, and so on).
In your domain dashboard, look for a section called DNS, Zone Editor, or DNS Management. Then:
- Find the A record for your main domain (often written as @ or your domain name).
- Edit that A record so that it points to this IP address:
207.246.71.168. - If you also have a separate A record for www.yourdomain.com, you can point that to the same IP or make it a CNAME to your root domain.
- Save your changes.
DNS changes can take some time to update worldwide. In many cases it starts working within an hour, but it can take up to 24 hours to fully update.
Step 2: Tell us your domain and store information
After you update your A record, please email us at support@wildorangepiemarketplace.com with:
- Your store name.
- Your store URL on Wild Orange Pie (for example:
https://wildorangepiemarketplace.com/sites/your-store/home.php). - The custom domain you want to use (for example: mystore.com).
We will reply with simple payment instructions for the 25 dollar installation fee and confirm when we are ready to complete the setup.
Step 3: We connect everything on our side
Once your A record is pointing to our server and the installation fee is paid, we will:
- Configure the server to route your domain to your specific Wild Orange Pie store.
- Install or update the necessary scripts and settings so your domain and store work together correctly.
- Test the connection and store loading from your custom domain.
When everything is ready, we will send you a confirmation email. After that, your customers will be able to visit your store directly at your own domain name.
